Special Session 3 (SS_03)

EAI ICNGWN 2023 will be held as an on-site conference and if needed, Accepted Authors who are unable to attend the event in person will be given the option to present remotely.

Special Session on “Optimized Decision-Making: Workshop on Computational Intelligence Strategies” (SS_03)

The objective of the special session

The discipline of optimized decision-making, which makes use of computational intelligence tactics to improve decision-making processes across a variety of sectors, is an important and rapidly growing one. Recent advances, obstacles, and potential uses of computational intelligence methods in decision-making will be discussed in this session. This session will focus on artificial intelligence (AI) techniques that aid in making sound decisions in highly uncertain settings, such as machine learning algorithms, data mining, optimization methods, evolutionary computation, and AI-based approaches. By bringing together researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals, this workshop will encourage the sharing of ideas and collaborations to address real-world decision-making difficulties.

Publication

All registered papers will be published in the EAI CORE series as a proceedings book and made available through the European Union Digital Library (EUDL).

Proceedings will be available in the European Union Digital Library, the proceedings are disseminated to an even wider audience by being indexed in ProQuest, CNKI, Google Scholar, and Ei Compendex indexing.

All registered papers will be considered for publication in EAI Transactions:

All accepted authors are eligible to submit an extended version in a fast track of:

Additional publication opportunities:

Paper submission

Papers should be submitted through EAI ‘Confy+‘ system, and have to comply with the CORE format (see Author’s kit section).

  • Regular papers should be up to 12-15+ pages in length.
  • Short papers should be 6-11 pages in length.

All conference papers undergo a thorough peer review process prior to the final decision and publication. This process is facilitated by experts in the Technical Program Committee during a dedicated conference period. Standard peer review is enhanced by EAI Community Review which allows EAI members to bid to review specific papers. All review assignments are ultimately decided by the responsible Technical Program Committee Members while the Technical Program Committee Chair is responsible for the final acceptance selection. You can learn more about Community Review here.
